Sophie Bath
Sophie is usually very animated in the tub, but of course since I want her to do things she is pretty dead pan.
She usually loves it when I make her have "silly hair"..she loves to stand up and look at her hair in the mirror. You would think by the 4th child I would realize they never perform on command!
The Loop
Sophie and I met Roberta and Kim at The Loop in Trussville for our Pink Dragonnettes meeting. Our group was the smallest it has been since we started meeting. We missed all our other members. It is hard to believe we have known each other a year now. Roberta is hopefully leaving the beginning of May to get her 2, yes, thats right 2 new sons from China. And hopefully Kim will get MeiLeighs referral the end of this year.. SPEED UP CHINA!! Anyways, it was a great time and I enjoyed helping them decide what to pack and what to leave and answering all their questions about travel.
Sophie was seriously hamming it up with the 2 ladies there who were spoiling her rotten!!!

Coca Cola Factory
We were freezing out there by the fountain.
This was at the end of the day on the way home. She was beat!
Micah sharing with Sophie
Thursday night my friend Misty and I drove down to Atlanta. We spent the night and took the kids to the Coca Cola Factory Friday morning. The kids loved it!! They couldn't believe all the different flavors of Coca Cola from around the world. They loved running to Sophie with each new taste and letting her have a sip.
We also wanted to go to the Atlanta Zoo but it was SOOO cold. So, instead we walked over to Atlanta Underground. It was a great mini trip and we all had a blast.

Outdoor fun
Yesterday while the older kids and daddy were at karate, Sophie and I got to enjoy some one on one time outside in the beautiful weather. She loves being outside. She loves the way leaves crunch when she walks on them and will run back and forth in the leaves just laughing. Her knees are now officially scraped from a couple little falls she had. They now look just like her big sissy's! She loves water and kept wanting to get in the pond. It was so sweet Gully walked with us and stayed between Sophie and the pond. She always loves the kittys and was trying to feed Midnight an acorn.(thankfully he wasnt hungry).
The last picture is of our cat, Lightning. He is our official hunter and is always bringing us nice prizes, like squirrels, moles and decapitiated birds(lovely I know). Well 2 geese landed on our well yesteday morning and Lightning was stalking them. Thankfully he was smart enough to just be an observer.

Gully
We noticed Gully was limping about 2 mos ago. We immediately had him checked out by the vet. The vet said he probably had a sprain but just to be safe to take him to an orthopedic vet. Well we did and at first he too thought it was a sprain. Well after further examining the x-ray they thought he might have a tumor. Well we got the biopsy results today and it is for sure a cancerous tumor. There is nothing that can be done for him and he will only have about 2 mos to live. We are controlling his pain with meds and the inflammation with steroids. We are just heart broken. Gully is the sweetest dog and everyone who knows him loves him. He is 2 years old this month. He is a 200 pound English Mastiff(for those of you who dont know him). This is just one of those freak things you dont expect to happen. We are all taking it hard but most of all we just dont want him to suffer.

My surfer kids
Love our grandma!
We are in Orlando this week enjoying Universal Studios and Sea World. Sophie did very well on the 9 hour trip down here, I was really worried but she did great. Now we will see going home! We have had so much fun. Sophie has not been scared of any of the characters but of course she has no idea who they are. The older kids have had fun riding all the rides, swimming here at the hotel and just chilling out! Sophie absolutely loves swimming. I will post pics of her first time in the pool.
