Wisconsin

About 3 weeks ago the kids and I went to Wisconsin w/ my mom. The majority of our extended family lives in Wi and I havent been there in almost 13 years. We visited w/ my aunts, uncles, cousins and some friends. The kids finally got to meet their great grandparents. It was a very good trip. It was also bitter-sweet in the fact that we got to see my grandparents but due to alzheimers they no longer know who anyone is, they are still sweet and happy but it is sad how your body can be whole and your mind gone. Thankfully they still live at home and have 24 hour nursing staff. Also while we were in Wi a blizzard came thru so we got to see some serious snow and actually make snowmen that were taller than 6inches! The kids had a blast! All of the family fell in love w/ Sophie and she was seriously hamming it up for them! She did so well on the 10 hour car trip there it was truly amazing!
