Update 2...Skiing in Mentone

A few weeks ago some friends and I met up in Mentone and went snow skiing. It was my first time and it was soooo fun. I was not able to walk or move without pain for days but it was worth it!!! I can definately see why people LOVE this sport. Katie, Elizabeth, Tyler and I all had some great falls(esp Katie hee hee)...while Amber, Jessica and Kaitlin showed us up by being graceful! Bert and Micah were hunting that weekend and Aunt LaLa kept Sophie for me. It was such a blast and I cannot WAIT to go again!!

Catching up... Christmas edition

I am soooo sorry it has been over a month since I updated. Life has been wonderfully busy at the Pierce home. Our Christmas and New Years were awesome. Sophie had such a blast opening her gifts. She really got into Christmas this year, last year we had only been home 3 days and we were still jet lagged. The kids all enjoyed their gifts and just being off of school and chilling.

We enjoyed baking goodies with family and friends. One special thing that happened was that we got to meet up with the Kemp family who we havent seen since we were in China last year. I have few more updates until I am caught up!

Wow, I cannot believe it has been a year since our precious Sophie was placed in our arms. The time has just flown by. Sophie is so precious. She has grown so much!! She definately transformed from baby to toddler right before our eyes. Each day is a new adventure with her. She is such a joy and we are so thankful God placed her in our lives.

4 Times blessed!

This was Sophie's first Thanksgiving. I soo remember last year at this time counting down our days to China...working on our packing list..worrying about the kids I was leaving home. This year was so peaceful knowing we were all finally together. The Lord has greatly blessed us!!

Horseback riding and more..

This past weekend we had the opportunity to go horseback riding at some friends house. Boy, did we have fun. Our day started at noon with food, riding horses, more food, zip-lining, more food, volleyball and one more time.. EATING! We had an absolute blast. The Bitlers are an awesome family and we had an amazing time. They live in this awesome log cabin on 20 acres. They have 17 horses! Hopefully sometime soon they will only have 15 horses as we are trying to prepare our pasture so we can buy 2 of them!! Today was our annual trip to the Pumpkin patch,,,,this was also Miss Sophie Ru's first trip to the pumpkin patch. She/ we had a blast!! She loved the haymaze, picking out her pumpkin, riding the pony, and playing in the inflatables. She was wore out by the end of our trip...
